Geekiest Weekend Ever

It has been a little while since my last post. I just wanted to tell everyone about my super geeky weekend. First off I spent Friday evening in the Toys R Us parking lot waiting for the midnight launch of the new Star Wars action figures. I ended up spending $75 and getting 11 figures. All the ones I got were the limited "1st Day Issue" figures with the limited packaging which was pretty cool.

Saturday my brother Tom and I went to the Magic the Gathering tournament in Jacksonville. It was for the release of the new set Eventide. We ended up staying there until after 2:30 in the morning. I made the top 8 and Tom ended up winning the whole thing.

Sunday I took my father to see the new X-Files movie. It wasn't to good and I was a little disappointed in how it turned out. Looks like it might be the last one we see.

Today I finished the hands and now I am working on the head of the pumpkin man. Amy's parents are down from PA some I'm sure we'll be doing all kinds of exciting things. Tomorrow is Amy's birthday as well ans she is still deciding on where we are going to eat.

New Computer = No Work

Today was the 2nd day at my new job. I'm starting to get the hang of everything there. Seems like I'll be pretty busy which will be a change from my previous job.

They got a new computer for me to use which is a sweet Mac with a 24 inch wide screen monitor. They got there at around noon and were still there when I left at 3:00. Needless to say there will be a pile of work for me to do when I return tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have no problems with the computer and everything will run smooth.

New Painting Part II

I have just finished the background of the painting. It took me around 1 and a half hours to complete it. Next I will have to work on the pumpkin man. It'll probably take me twice as long to finish that part.

New Painting

I have just begun the work on my new artwork. It is of a pumkin man. Below is a picture of the artwork sketched out on the canvas. It took me about an hour to sketch everything out and now I will begin the process of painting.

1st Posting

Welcome to the first posting of my blog! I shall try to keep up with this as much as possible. I have just added a few new things to the gallery section of my website. Please check them out whenever you get the chance!

I will be starting my brand new job on Monday. It was hard for me to leave my current job, but it's time for me to move on to bigger and better opportunities. I just want to thank everyone at the Insiders' Guide for all that you have done for me. I will miss you all and will visit whenever I can. Everyone at my new job seem really nice and are excited about me joining the crew.

I'll leave you all with a pic I took of some crazy artwork at the PT Barnum Museum in Florida.
